Assistant or Associate Professor Positions
Michigan Technological University's College of Computing and College of Engineering invite applications for five (5) Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the broadly defined areas of computing education, computer engineering, computer science, and electrical engineering. Priority areas of consideration include, but are not limited to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence/machine learning, cloud computing/internet of things, robotics/automation, robotics/healthcare, big data/data science, human interfaces, embedded systems, and education research related to computing fields. Successful candidates will develop strong externally funded research programs, participate in undergraduate and graduate instruction and advising, and contribute to the university and society through professional service. Positions will be filled no later than mid-August 2020.

Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Chair will lead the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty in their mission of excellence in education, research, and service. We seek an individual with the vision and experience to elevate the department’s prominence in research within the fields of electrical and computer engineering, further our strong tradition of education excellence, and grow our MS and PhD programs.
Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics
All research areas are of interest, including additive manufacturing, circular manufacturing, cyber-physical systems, robotics, wave energy conversion and more. Other openings are available within the college of engineering in multiple programs.
