Dental Benefits
The Standard has replaced Delta Dental, effective January 1, 2026. We are also partnering with Jet Dental, who will provide on-site visits to perform preventative dental care (cleanings, whitening, basic restorative work) for employees and family members age 3 or older. Jet Dental is in network with The Standard and services are covered at normal network costs.
Jet Dental does not replace your current primary dentist. Employees are welcome to continue seeing their established provider. Jet Dental is available as a supplemental option if you face difficulty scheduling timely appointments with your primary dentist.

What If Things Change During The Year?
You can't change your coverage during the plan year unless you have a qualified family status change. If you do have a qualified family status change, you may add or remove dependents to existing enrolled coverage plans. You may elect new coverage plans only if your change is related to the loss of insurance coverage and you are not already enrolled in a plan with us. To make changes due to a qualified family status change, you must submit notification via Employee Navigator within 30 days of the qualified family status change event. Supporting documentation must be sent to Benefit Services. When adding a dependent, documentation will be required.
Required Documentation for Dependents
Qualified family status events include, but are not limited to:
- Marriage or divorce
- Birth or legal adoption of a child
- Legal guardianship
- Child turns age 26
- Death of your spouse or a dependent child
- Loss/gain of insurance coverage by your spouse's employer
Failure to notify the Benefits Office within 30 days of any family status change may result in the following:
- You will be held responsible for any claims paid for an ineligible dependent
- Premiums paid for an ineligible dependent will not be refunded
