College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science
Michigan Tech's College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science offers far-reaching ecological programs with global impact—including the longest-running predator-prey study in the world. Plus, we're the only school in the country with a semester-long field camp for our undergraduate natural resources majors. Students in our graduate natural resources programs contribute to positive change in the realm of forest science and conservation. Our students learn about sustainability and the circular bioeconomy on the shores of Lake Superior and in more than 5,000 acres of University forests set aside for research, education, recreation, and outreach.
