Fall Career Fair
Hundreds of employers will meet and hire Huskies at Michigan Tech's Fall Career Fair on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Michigan Tech graduates are in high demand. The University hosts two Career Fairs annually, each attracting companies from multiple industry sectors, all hiring for internships, co-ops, and full-time jobs. As many as 7,000 student interviews are available during each Career Fair. The semi-annual event, one of the largest of its kind in the nation, is preceded by CareerFEST, a series of casual networking events and career development workshops to help students prepare.
Leading Scholar
The Leading Scholar Award is Michigan Tech's premier scholarship. It is awarded to incoming first-year students who have not only excelled in their academic pursuits, but also demonstrated outstanding leadership and a passion for serving others. Each year, we recognize a select group of students whose remarkable achievements have left a mark in their local community, knowing they will bring that same excellence to our campus.
East Hall Construction
At Michigan's flagship technological university, we're preparing for tomorrow.
The East Hall, a new 516-student residence, accommodates Tech's growing student body with easy access to campus and the Keweenaw Waterway. The project is planned to be completed and the building occupied by Fall 2025.
