First-Year Students

At Michigan Tech, you apply as a first-year student if you have completed your junior year of high school, are in your final (13th) year of early/middle college, or have graduated high school and not taken any college classes after graduation.

Apply to Michigan Tech

Apply to Michigan Tech with the Common App. No SAT or ACT scores are required if you have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

College Credit

Have you earned college credit while still in high school? Find out how to bring those hard-earned credits with you to Michigan Tech.

Find the institution granting credit for your course(s) and see if and how credit would be awarded at Michigan Tech. All courses are based on historical data, so if you don’t see your course or institution, that doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t earn credit.
