Dining Managers are part of a highly collaborative and innovative Auxiliary Services team responsible for providing leadership and directing all aspects of the programs, operations, and facilities of Dining Services at Michigan Tech.

Dining Managers perform their duties with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all customers, including transforming the residential experience for Michigan Tech students.

Dining Services is looking for an individual to manage and lead service excellence for Michigan Tech. The primary work locations will be in our high-volume residential service areas, but all managers will work across the dining enterprise including in the areas of retail, catering, and concessions as needed.

The Executive Assistant for Administration provides comprehensive professional administrative support to the Associate Vice President for Administration (AVPA) and the unit leaders of the Administrative and Auxiliary departments in the AVPA’s portfolio. This position will ensure that administrative functions are well-coordinated to support flawless execution of transactions and transformational service excellence. Housing Operations Coordinator, Residence Education & Housing Services

The Housing Operations Coordinator is a 12-month, full time position responsible for coordinating multiple logistical operations for the department, ensuring an efficient housing operation that maximizes satisfaction for students. Responsibilities include direct management and oversight of the comprehensive front desk system in the university’s residence halls, ensuring the students are provided an exceptional customer service experience and that the facility is presenting an image consistent with the university. This position will assist with similar projects including the management of the Quad Core Fitness Centers in the halls, supervision of the Operations Assistants who provide facility support, and assist with summer conference planning. Additionally, they will partner with the Assistant Director of Housing to coordinate an off campus transition program for undergraduate resident students that helps prepare them for success in off campus living and provides them resources to listings to successfully find housing. Close proximity to campus is important to provide after hours support to operational functions as needed. Staff is provided a 1 bedroom on campus apartment at no cost and a meal plan. Staff may negotiate to reside off campus provided they are able to provide a response plan for after hours support.

Manager of Budget & Planning - Auxiliary Services

The Budget Office and the Associate Vice President for Administration are looking for a 12-month, full-time Manager of Budget & Planning. The Manager will ensure that the financial planning functions and business transactions of Auxiliary Services are meeting customer needs, departmental targets, and that planning is forward-looking and strategic to address the growth needs of the University. They will be responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts to ensure best-in-class service and financial performance and growth.

This position will also assist the Director of Budget and Financial Planning in financial analysis of other University operations and assigned projects. The position will report to the Director of Budget and Financial Planning.
