Husky Health is now MTU Wellness 360!

The wellness incentive is free, voluntary, and confidential. Participants must complete four (4) items under the "required" section to earn $250 and to be eligible to receive the $200 "optional" incentive.

The Incentive Form items MUST be completed within the reporting period of January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. The form will be due to Benefit Services on January 9, 2024 to verify participation in each activity prior to the incentive being awarded in 2024.

Retiree MTU Wellness 360 Incentive

The Retiree Incentive Form items MUST be completed within the reporting period of January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. The form will be due to Benefits Services by January 9, 2024 for to verify participation in each activity prior to the incentive being awarded.

2023 will be the final year for Retirees to participate in the MTU Wellness 360 Incentive.

Health and Wellbeing at Michigan Tech

Michigan Tech deeply values health and wellbeing among its faculty and staff community. The MTU Wellness 360 Incentive is a free, voluntary, and confidential program that helps qualifying benefits-eligible faculty and staff learn helpful information about their health and wellbeing, encourages them to take steps to improve or maintain it, and earn monetary rewards of up to $450 for participating in incentive options. The goal of MTU Wellness 360 is to encourage sustainable, healthy lifestyles that help prevent chronic disease and other health conditions, and manage rising healthcare costs. Additionally, MTU Wellness 360 strives to provide faculty and staff with valuable tools and resources to support their emotional, social, and financial wellbeing.

Between January 1 and December 31, complete chosen health actions to earn up to $450.

Participation

Michigan Tech encourages and rewards faculty and staff to live a healthy lifestyle. The MTU Wellness 360 Incentive is a voluntary, financial incentive program available to all benefits-eligible Michigan Tech employees. Faculty and staff do not need to be enrolled in a BCBSM Michigan Tech health plan to participate. Read the wellness program notice of consent prior to participating in the MTU Wellness 360 Incentive.

*Disclaimer: In order to receive the MTU Wellness 360 Incentive, you must be an active employee at the date the payout is received. Employees who are inactive prior to the payout date will no longer be eligible for the incentive. RSVP employees should fill out the Retiree MTU Wellness 360 Checklist if their retirement date is on or before December 31, 2023. Retirees last opportunity to participate in the incentive program will be for the 2023 reporting period.

Retiree MTU Wellness 360 Incentive

The Retiree Incentive allows retirees to earn $200 for completing a Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan Health Assessment and an annual physical.  The $200 Retiree incentive will be paid directly to you, allowing more flexibility and choice in how you use your wellness incentive. Retiree MTU Wellness 360 incentive is voluntary and confidential. 2023 will be the final year for Retirees to participate in the MTU Wellness 360 Incentive.
