Backstage Jazz

The Jazz Meets Hip Hop and Osman Koć Digital Art combines all of the best things: (1) The Jazz Lab band playing big band covers that have been sampled by hip hop artists; (2) A hip hop artist performing the songs as they were sampled, along with members of the Jazz Lab Band; and (3) An interactive, on-stage installation by the innovative creative technologist Osman Koç. The full concert takes place Friday, October 22, 7:30 pm. The interactive exhibit will be available throughout the day on Sat., Oct. 23, from 10 am to 5 pm, for students and the public to interact and play with. Read more>>

Registration begins October 24, 10:00 pm, for graduate students and veterans. Following, registration opens based upon the number of credits you have completed. Refer to the schedule to plan for your registration date and time. Contact your Academic Advisor to help plan your most efficient degree path.

The College of Computing Learning Center is open for business, on-campus and in-person! The CCLC, in Rekhi Hall, is staffed by upper-level undergraduate students and supported by Michigan Tech's College of Computing. The coaches can help with homework, broad topics, programming tips, and more, Sunday through Friday from 2-5 pm and 7-10 pm. Just stop in and get the help you need for success in your computing courses. Appointments are available but not necessary.
