Career Fair

Students enrolled in the College of Computing (CC) and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) are invited to a Career Fair mixer on Sep. 20, 4-5:30 p.m., in the Rozsa Center. Students will have the opportunity to talk with representatives of major employers that are seeking to hire CC and ECE graduates. More info.


Computing[MTU] Showcase

The College of Computing and the Institute of Computing and Cybersystems (ICC) will host a research poster session on Oct. 10, 1-3 pm, in MUB Ballroom A. All students are invited to submit research posters. Prizes will be awarded. Submit posters by Sep. 30,12 am. More info.


Law Gavel

Are you considering a law career? Want to learn more? A representative from the MSU College of Law will be on campus Thursday, September 15, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Room 204 of the Academic Office Building. Open to all majors and years. More info.


College of Computing Enrollment Increases 13.6%


College of Computing Growth Trends

The College of Computing is pleased to share that enrollment in computing programs has grown 13.6% over last year, marking the second consecutive year of greater than 10% growth, and 95% growth in computing programs since 2014. Total fall 2022 computing enrollment is 993.

“This isn’t a fluke. It continues a decade-long trend of computing enrollment growth at Michigan Tech, which is due to the hard work of everyone in the College of Computing, along with our colleagues in enrollment management, marketing, and the registrar’s office,” said Dennis Livesay, Dave House Dean of Computing. More info.

Computing Learning Center


Computing Learning Center schedule

Don't wait until the final crunch. The College of Computing Learning Center (CCLC), on the first floor of Rekhi Hall, Room 118, is staffed by upper-level undergraduate students and supported by the College of Computing. The friendly CCLC coaches are available to help succeed in your computing courses. No appointments are necessary. Free. Open to all students taking computing classes. This fall, the Learning Center is open Sunday-Friday according to the schedule below.
