Students Place in ICPC Programming Competition

Eleven Michigan Tech students competed in the 2023 ICPC Programming competition for the North Central region, held on Feb. 25. The top team solved five problems and placed 8th in the region, just missing out on advancing to the national competition. All four teams solved at least one problem. Two teams solved three problems, placing 36th and 46th out of 105 teams. Learn more.

New CS Summer Course: AI for Social Good

The Department of Computer Science has added the summer 2023 class, AI for Social Good, which provides a comprehensive foundation in AI concepts including machine learning, deep learning, and decision-making, with a focus on ethics through critical reviews, discussions, and expert speakers. Learn more.

Computing Learning Center

Get the help you need. The College of Computing Learning Center (CCLC), on the first floor of Rekhi Hall, Room 118, is staffed by upper-level undergraduate students and supported by the College of Computing. The friendly CCLC coaches are available to help succeed in your computing courses. No appointments are necessary. Free. Open to all students taking computing classes. This fall, the Learning Center is open Sunday-Friday according to the schedule here.
