Husky Days

Deciding where to go to college is a huge decision. We want to help make your choice easier! Join us for a Husky Day and spend time on campus exploring why Michigan Tech is the right choice for you. You will be able to choose from different events and presentations to make the most of your trip.

Husky Days for fall will be held on October 31 and November 14. Spring Husky Days will be launched in January.

Schedule of the Day

We encourage you to make the day your own by deciding on which sessions you are most excited to attend. Feel free to split up your group. You also aren’t tied to the schedule you create here. Important sessions will be repeated, so you can change your plan as much as you want and still not miss a thing.

Check-In

8:30–9 a.m. ET
Check-in will be at the lobby in the Rozsa Center for Performing Arts (10) and you'll receive your event itinerary, which includes meeting times and locations.

Take a tour of the Unit Operations Lab, Michigan Tech’s 6,500 square foot state of the art chemical processing lab and hear about on-going research. Limit 20 people per session. Because of space limitations, we ask that students be prioritized for this tour.

Meet in the John Edgar McAllister Welcome Center in the Memorial Union Building.

Already know your major? Have so many interests it's hard to choose? Whether you have a plan or not, this session can help you map your interests to opportunities at Michigan Tech.

Build with First Year Engineering

Join Michigan Tech faculty and students for a design and build activity in The Alley MakerSpace. Makers of all backgrounds are welcome, and this is a great opportunity to meet First-Year Engineering faculty and students.

Meet the Robots

Explore the many ways that Tech does robotics and meet some of our resident robots.

Local area lodging fills quickly during peak visit times, so plan ahead and make your reservations early.

Parking Information

Parking near event check-in at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts is limited. Parking attendants will be available to assist guests and reduce traffic congestion. Free parking is available in Lot 10W on the south side of the Rozsa Center.
