Enhance Geospatial Skills for Modern GIS and Remote Sensing

Professionals of STEM fields/industry are conscious of the exponential growth and need for GIS and Remote Sensing in our complex, interdependent, and rapidly changing world/ecosystem. Living in times where data is abundant, GIS builds the bridge between data and map especially location data (“where”) with various types of useful information (“what”) at that location, which in sync provides the vision and foundation for analysis and mapping used in almost every industry/field where science is involved.

In a world where human-induced climate change is present more then ever, natural disasters, wildfires, deforestration, severe droughts, overpopulation, earthquakes, flash floods, fresh water crisis, ocean warming have become so prevalent that it becomes crucial for us to understand them. Our on-campus and online foundations in geographic information science for natural resources certificate provides you the tools to understand, explain, answer and resolve some of these challenges and in return helps create a sustainable, secure, healthy, and equitable future for everyone. Be a part of this program and contribute towards the kind of world you want to see.
