Each of our health informatics-related certificates can be applied towards the completion of the Michigan Tech MS in Health Informatics.

What You Need to Know

Students in the graduate certificate in Foundations of Health Informatics will be able to prepare, code, and process data for security and privacy, data analysis, and system analysis. The curriculum integrates building skills in communication and project management while working on data from real-world problems.

What is Health Informatics?


Students take three required courses and one elective course over four semesters. For elective courses, students will be able to choose one course from two available options.
