On-campus Check-In – Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts (#10), Lobby

Collect your Preview Day materials, including a detailed schedule, lunch, and VIP passes. You may also check in on Saturday between 8 and 9 a.m.

5:30–7 p.m.

Campus Tour

Current students will fill you in about life at Michigan Tech and answer your questions as they show you around campus.

University Welcome

Kick off your day with a welcome from some of our outstanding students.

9:45–11:30 a.m.

Information Sessions for Students and Parents

Choose from 45-minute concurrent information sessions for students and parents focusing on academics, financial aid and scholarships, study-abroad programs, student life, and more.

11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Lunch

Redeem your complimentary meal pass (each guest will receive one) at your assigned residence hall within your assigned time frame.

11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Michigan Tech Showcase

Meet with department representatives to get details on majors, minors, undergraduate research, and study-abroad opportunities. Representatives from student life, student activities, and the career center will also be available.

11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Enterprise Expo

Meet with representatives from our Enterprise teams to learn about the opportunities available for students of all majors.

11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Admissions Office is Open

Admissions staff members will be on hand to answer questions and provide information that may be helpful during your visit.

11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Financial Aid Office is Open

If you have additional questions about paying for college after attending our information session, stop by the financial aid office. Staff members will be available to assist you.

1:30–2:15 p.m.

Information Sessions for Students and Parents

Afternoon concurrent information sessions for students and parents focusing on such areas as housing and residential life, co-ops and internships, and the academic transition to college.

2:30-3:15 p.m.

Academic Department Tours

Talk with faculty members, academic advisors, and current students during a visit to an academic department. See labs and classrooms and learn about undergraduate research opportunities. See the list below for departments that are available to tour.

3:30–4:30 p.m.

Residence Hall Tours

Explore any or all of our three residence halls (Douglas Houghton Hall, McNair Hall, and Wadsworth Hall) with a current student as your guide. You’ll see student rooms, dining rooms, lounges, study areas, and more.
