Weekday Mail Service

Mail Services delivers to campus departments weekdays using the traditional mail pickup and delivery schedule.

Due to current staffing, there will be days when mail delivery will not be available. We encourage each department to have key staff members join the Mail Services Updates email list to receive notifications when disruptions occur.

Departments are welcome to pick up and drop off mail. The service window on the garden level of the Administration Building is open and staffed during the hours shown in the Service Window Hours section. Mail Services staff are available to assist with mail, shipping (UPS and FedEx), and bulk mailing. Contact us at mail-services-l@mtu.edu or 906-487-2348 with questions.

Mail Services inside University Marketing and Communications is a full-service mail processing center providing mail delivery to campus departments. Mail Services staff are available to assist with shipping options and can assist in preparing the proper paperwork for shipments to ensure you receive the best possible rates.

To assist with shipping needs for Michigan Tech business, the University has FedEx and UPS accounts which benefit all departments. These accounts include negotiated discounts—most of which result in substantial savings to department budgets. Members of the campus community are not authorized to open personal/individual accounts affiliated with Michigan Tech.
