Established to develop and produce highly respected, well-adjusted, informed, and socially acceptable gentlemen; enhance the social and academic lives of its members at Michigan Technological University; and to inform its members not only of their duties to themselves but to those they have the ability to help. Beta Sigma Theta is a local fraternity founded on the ideals of Faith, Brotherhood and Scholarship.

Delta Sigma Phi is a nationally recognized Fraternity built on the commitment of uniting men of exceptional character to respond to the needs and demands of our society. We are the worlds first anti-secret and anti-hazing organization, with rituals open to anyone who wants to learn about them. We have been on campus for nearly 40 years with an alumni base of nearly 400 members, all of whom have very different backgrounds and personalities but this organization has brought us all together. We work together to make ourselves into better men all while having a good time and helping our community through our service projects. Every winter we work with the City of Houghton, allowing us to serve our community by shoveling off the West Houghton Ice Rink after it closes every night. We raise money throughout the year to give to our Global Service Initiative which allows 60 brothers from all over the US and Canada to go to Jamaica and assist local contractors with building and expanding schools and churches as well as learning about the local culture by immersing ourselves in it. 

Kappa Delta Psi

Kappa Delta Psi was established in 1921 by Veterans of World War I. We are a local fraternity that builds its members in leadership and business skills.
Our focus at Kappa Delta Psi is leadership development. We believe one of the most important skills you can develop to prepare you for the working world are leadership skills.
Young men join KDs with the opportunity to gain experience in many facets of business. Each elected leadership position in the fraternity is similar to a position one might encounter in the business world.
You came to Michigan Tech for a great education. Depending on your background the transition to college life here in Houghton can be overwhelming. Our members offer tutoring to each other and group study times. As a group we want each of our members to succeed in their education.
KDs contribute significantly to the success of MTU’s teams in a variety of sports, particularly football. MTU’s Sports Hall of Fame roster now registers the names of 169 men who have been inducted into this prestigious group.

The Brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha at Michigan Tech come from very diverse walks of life. No matter where you are from or what you are interested in, you can find a Lambda brother that you have something in common with. This diverse environment coupled with service events and frequent discussions about life’s core values helps to shape us into well-rounded men, which is the goal of each and every brother of our Fraternity.

The only fraternity located in Hancock, MI; the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau was founded at the Michigan College of Mining and Technology as Mu Kappa Mu on May 7, 1957 and chartered with Phi Kappa Tau in 1959. The brothers of our chapter believe in a lifelong commitment to brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership, and exemplary character. We accept all our brothers without reservation or evasion, regardless of race, color, religious creed, or economic level. We participate on campus through Homecoming, Greekend, and Winter Carnival. We are known for our snow statues. We are involved in the community volunteering for Pancake Breakfast at the Hancock Elementary School and Make a Difference Day. We raise money for our national philanthropy, SeriousFun, which offers free recreational experiences to children with serious illnesses. We are involved on campus through Orientation, various Enterprises, and many other student organizations outside of our chapter. We are engaged with our National Fraternity through Leadership Academy and our National Convention. Our brothers strive to become better leaders to improve our chapter, the University, and the community.

The Michigan Eta Chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity was founded on May 8, 1965. Our main focus is to build balanced men through pursuing a sound mind and sound body, while staying true to the values of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love. Unlike many, we are a nationally dry fraternity. This provides us with the opportunity to better represent the community, students, and university with pride. We place a large importance in our brotherhood and philanthropy. Nationally, we are partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and locally we hold the Justin Fitch Memorial Ruck March. We work to provide each and every brother with constant support and respect in an effort to help all members succeed in their studies as well as enjoy their experience at the university. The Brothers of Sigma Pi, Zeta-Epsilon Chapter, are proud of the strong, tight-knit Brotherhood cultivated within our Fraternity since our founding in 1984. This is evident from the incredible involvement and presence of our alumni. Alumni from across the country travel to the midwest each year for our annual Orchid Ball, an event that serves as both a formal and a reunion for our Fraternity. Our continued success as a chapter has allowed us to undertake various philanthropy events over the years, including our annual Haunted Haus Charity Fundraiser. Last Fall, we raised over $2,600 from this event, all of which we donated to Pigs 'N Heat and Dial Help. We hope to give back to the larger community via philanthropy/community service, and "to promote the spirit of civic righteousness," as stated within the last of our five ideals. Young men who join Sigma Pi, Zeta-Epsilon Chapter are welcomed into a Brotherhood that fosters openness and diversity. It is commonplace for Brothers to challenge one another's ideas and beliefs; being so accepting of those who come from a diverse array of backgrounds, it is inevitable. Though we may oftentimes disagree and challenge one another, our open-mindedness and camaraderie encourage us to accept one another regardless of belief or background, and perhaps learn something along the way. Time and time again, our alumni tell stories of how joining Sigma Pi changed their lives for the better. We, the Brothers of Sigma Pi, Zeta-Epsilon Chapter hope to continue to uphold this great legacy as we daringly step-forward and shape our chapter's future.

The Gamma Chi Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma is comprised of a group of Noble men who strive to embody the principles of Learning, Integrity, Excellence, Leadership, Citizenship, and Brotherhood. We are goal-oriented gentlemen with a passion for academic and Fraternal achievement. Our focus on selflessness and hard-work helps mold young men into successful adults. Outside of the classroom, our Brothers enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing, video games, and relaxing at our chapter house. We are able to bond with each other while giving back to the community by participating in various volunteer events each semester. Ultimately, the experiences had, and connections made within Sig Tau last with our Brothers for the rest of their lives.

Tau Kappa Epsilon, commonly known as TKE or Teke, is a social collegiate fraternity with chapters throughout the United States and Canada, making it an international organization providing men with countless opportunities for personal growth and development. Above all else, this fraternity stands for Men. We stand for men whose manhood has withstood the test of trying conditions. We deem sterling character and staunch uprightness to be necessary qualifications to membership in this fraternity.
Our mission is to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life.  Tau Kappa Epsilon creates lifelong relationships that enhance educational, interpersonal, community, and professional success.  TKE contributes to the advancement of society through the personal growth of our members and service to others.
The Mu Lambda Chapter of TKE established at Michigan Tech prides itself on over 50 years of involvement with the university and the greater Houghton community.

The purpose of Triangle shall be to maintain a fraternity of engineers, architects and scientists. It shall carry out its purpose by establishing chapters that develop balanced men who cultivate high moral character, foster lifelong friendships, and live their lives with integrity.
Triangle has a lot to offer academically, socially, and athletically. Preparing yourself for your future career and achieving Academic success are your primary goals at the university. Even so, social participation provides an enhancement from the busy and challenging college curriculum. Athletics are important because they encourage physical ability as well as competition and cooperation.
Triangle understands the balance between these and strives to attain a level of excellence in each of the three areas while maintaining a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where lifelong friendships can be made.
