Sororities:

Alpha Delta Alpha

Alpha Delta Alpha is a local sorority that was established in 1980 at Michigan Technological University. Our sisterhood was founded on the motto, “good times and good friends”.  We aspire to uphold that, along with our values of higher learning, close friendships, and philanthropy.  Our goal is to be a support system and a home away from home for everyone.

Additionally, we encourage and maintain a level of idealism, balanced with the responsibilities of academics and daily life. Our members develop a focus on serious pursuits while enjoying a light-hearted attitude towards life. Civic awareness and philanthropy are key aspects of Alpha Delta Alpha as well. Some of our sister-wide philanthropy projects include Bowl4Kids and Adopt-A-Highway. Finally, members of Alpha Delta Alpha are accepting of all people, regardless of their age, race, gender, orientation, theology, etc.

Alpha Gamma Delta

Alpha Gamma Delta is a very close group of women that strive to build one another up. We have used our sisterhood to create a supportive and safe place for everyone. We enjoy doing many things together such as volunteering with 31 Backpacks and HuskyFAN as well as walking dogs at the humane society. We work together to make sure every sister is putting academics first and that we are all successful in our classes.

Alpha Sigma Tau

Alpha Sigma Tau, more commonly known as AST, is a national sorority established to promote ethical, cultural, and social development of its members. Our sisterhood is heavily involved around campus and participates in Winter Carnival, Homecoming, Greekend, K-day, Spring Fling, and intramural sports. Outside of campus, we are involved with our local service project, Habitat for Humanity, and our national philanthropy, Women’s Wellness Initiative. Alpha Sigma Tau empowers women to excel in life along with being committed to developing scholars, philanthropists, leaders, and sisters among our collegiate and alumnae members. Our ever-growing chapter is filled with some of the brightest minds, most caring individuals, and women who we are all proud to call our sisters.

Delta Phi Epsilon

Delta Phi Epsilon is an international sorority focused on empowering women to be their best selves.  We do so by providing opportunities in areas of service, social, scholarship, sisterhood, and self.  We pride ourselves on being a sisterhood experience rich with tradition, innovation, and opportunities for growth and our founding principles are justice, sisterhood, and love.  Our motto is Esse Quam Videri , which means "to be, rather than to seem to be",   and we strive to live up to this motto every day.  The women of Delta Phi Epsilon seek to be involved on campus, academically driven, and friends to all.

Delta Zeta

As a member of the Lambda Theta Chapter of Delta Zeta, sisters will be empowered to explore opportunities within our chapter, on campus, professionally, and to become the best version of themselves with the continuous support of sisters. Our sisters are given the opportunity to participate in campus activities such as Intramural's, Winter Carnival, Homecoming, Greek Week, Make a Difference Day, and many others. All of our sisters are involved in an organization outside of Delta Zeta, including Young Women’s Leadership Program, MindTrekkers, Society of Women Engineers, Circle K International, and the Ski and Snowboard Club. Our chapter holds academics above everything else, and offers specialized academic support to every sister throughout their college years. With multiple sisterhood events each month, our friendship is continuously growing, making Delta Zeta not only a college experience but a lifetime experience.

Phi Delta Chi

Phi Delta Chi is a local women's fraternity founded in 1989 by former members of the White Roses of Sigma Tau Gamma following the decision to dissolve the program. We were built on the values of friendship, loyalty, independence, and trust and pride ourselves in living up to our motto of being "Unique and Growing." Each year we partner with another organization to host a fundraising event to support the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance and the philanthropy of our partner's choosing.

Theta Chi Epsilon

Theta Chi Epsilon is the first sorority at Michigan Technological University, the women of this organization value sisterhood, scholarship, and service. We believe that sisterhood follows you out of college and grows throughout your lifetime. The sisters of Theta Chi encourage involvement outside of the sorority and work to develop the best version of themselves. The bond of our sisterhood creates a fun and supportive environment throughout a sister's time and Michigan Tech and in life.
