Typical Four-year Outlines
A typical four-year outline is more than just a checklist—it’s your roadmap to graduation. This semester-by-semester plan, while not an official degree audit, can give you a rough idea of how to complete your bachelor’s degree, making it easy to see the journey ahead.
From your very first semester, you’ll know when to dive into foundational courses and build essential skills. As you move forward, the outline highlights intermediate and advanced courses, ensuring prerequisites are taken in the right order so nothing holds you back. Along the way, you’ll balance major requirements and electives, giving you room to specialize or explore new interests through Essential Education. Finally, your plan could lead you to a final project or capstone project, where you’ll bring together everything you’ve learned.
Clear, organized, and designed with your success in mind, a typical four-year outline helps you stay on track—and make the most of your college experience. Contact the College of Business with any questions.
