Earn a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Five Years

Are you ready to pick up the pace and expedite your education? The Accelerated Master’s Program in Physics makes it possible for highly motivated students to earn both Bachelor's of Science and a Master's of Science in Physicsin five years of study.

A Research-Intensive Program

This accelerated degree plan allows you to combine the master’s degree with any bachelor’s degree offered by the Department of Physics, including the Bachelor's of Science in Applied Physics and Bachelor's of Science in Physics. You may count up to 6 approved credits towards both degrees.

The physics accelerated master’s program offers a coursework, report, and thesis option. Students begin graduate course work during the fourth year. When you graduate you will be ready for industry achievement or advanced studies in your physics doctoral program.
