As you prepare for your first year at Michigan Tech, we know that you have plenty of questions. Our week-long Orientation program is designed to answer your questions, introduce you to campus resources, and give you a smooth transition to life at Tech. In the fall of 2021, First-year orientation will begin just after noon on Sunday, August 22 and run until the afternoon of Friday, August 27. The majority of the "required" orientation programming will be complete by the morning of Thursday, August 26, leaving students time to explore campus resources through our optional programming. Welcome Week starts on Saturday, August 28 and classes start the following Monday, August 30.
