As you prepare for your first year at Michigan Tech, we know that you have plenty of questions. Our week-long Orientation program is designed to answer your questions, introduce you to campus resources, and give you a smooth transition to life at Tech. In the fall of 2024, First-year orientation will begin just after noon on Sunday, August 18 and run until the afternoon of Friday, August 23. Welcome Week starts on Saturday, August 24 and classes start the following Monday, August 26.

Student-Athletes
Student-athletes participating on a fall athletics team will be automatically enrolled to attend the Student-Athlete Orientation which will be held on August 15, 2024 and expected to attend the required programming during Orientation week.
Student-athletes participating in a spring sport will attend the entire Orientation Week.
