vivenu Ticketing FAQ and Info
Ticket Information
The Rozsa and the Visual and Performing Arts Department are working to create an equitable and inclusive arts culture here in the Keweenaw. We believe that making events financially accessible to all is an important part
of that commitment. Pay As You’re Able ticketing allows us to do just that.
Pay As You're Able is tiered ticket pricing so you determine the price that you can afford. The "Full
Fee" is the fair market value of the ticket - in the past, this would have been the
listed ticket price. If you need to pay less, please choose to pay less. If you can
pay more, select "More than the Full Fee," and your generosity will help support this
program by covering part of someone else's ticket fee.
What is Pay As You're Able?
Pay As You're Able ticketing is designed to remove financial barriers and promote
greater accessibility to the performing arts. The program allows guests to select
their ticket from various price levels based on what they can afford.
How Does Pay As You're Able Work?
Guests choose the level or levels that make sense for them. The Rozsa encourages guests
to pay what they can to enjoy the same high-quality experience, regardless of the
amount they can afford to pay.
Online: Guests select the price tier(s) they can afford when purchasing tickets.
In person or on the phone: A member of the box office team will share the Pay As You’re Able pricing tiers and
guests select from the options.
Which Events are Pay As You're Able?
All Rozsa, Michigan Tech Music, and Michigan Tech Theatre events are Pay As You're
Able. To help you navigate them, all eligible events will be labeled as Pay As You’re
Able on our website, with the full ticket fee listed.
For rental events hosted at our venues, the Rozsa Center acts strictly as a ticketing
agent on behalf of external Event Providers; consequently, we do not determine ticket
pricing or seating configurations for rental events.
What do the different price levels mean?
The full fee represents the fair market value of a ticket, and guests are encouraged
to contribute what they can afford. For some, that may mean covering the full ticket
fee and supporting part of someone else's ticket, paying some of the fee, or opting
for the minimum price.
How does this affect Michigan Tech Student Tickets?
It doesn't! Michigan Tech Students are still eligible for Student Rush tickets, sponsored
by the Experience Tech Fee. Learn more about Student Rush.
Some events, including events hosted by community organizations, have set prices based
on age:
- Adult Tickets are intended for those 18 years and older.
- Youth Tickets are intended for young people under 18 years.
Other special categories may include veteral pricing, early-bird pricing, or late-registration
fee.
For rental events hosted at our venues, the Rozsa Center acts strictly as a ticketing
agent on behalf of external Event Providers; consequently, we do not determine ticket
pricing or seating configurations for those specific performances.

Ticket Purchasing Tips and Troubleshooting
Ticket Purchasing Tips and Troubleshooting
During high-traffic periods, the ticketing page will automatically add you to a waiting
room and you are added to a queue. This does not mean the event is sold out; remain
in the waiting room without refreshing the browser to remain in the queue.
- Single Browser: When ordering tickets online, please ensure you are looking for tickets and placing
an order using a single browser window. Looking up tickets using multiple browser
windows could result in losing your tickets due to the timer expiration.
- Log-in Early: For high-demand shows, we recommend creating your account in advance of the on-sale
or logging in early to ensure a smoother checkout experience.
If there is no waiting room and you are experiencing issues, we recommend the following:
- Refresh Page: When there is no waiting room, we encourage you to refresh your browser, and try
again periodically.
- Ticket Limit: A maximum of 8 tickets can be purchased per customer for each show. For group tickets,
please contact the Rozsa Box Office during Box Office Hours.
- Checkout Process: Tickets are not secure until your transaction is complete, even if they are in your
cart.
The Visual and Performing Arts Department offers free live streams of select Michigan
Tech Music and Michigan Tech Theatre events. You don't need a ticket - simply click
on the "View Stream" or visit the Visual and Performing Arts Live Streaming Page or subscribe to the Rozsa's YouTube channel. Events that are available both in-person and on live stream will be labeled
"Hybrid" on the event page.
The live stream will be live 10-30 minutes before the start of the performance. Due
to the limits of our live performances, some events can only be broadcast live and
are not available after the performance in any form.
