How to Buy Tickets at the Rozsa

The Rozsa is upgrading to a new ticketing system. Starting June 1, 2026, tickets will no longer be available at our previous site; a new link is coming soon. Our main website, mtu.edu/rozsa, will remain your primary resource for viewing the full events calendar, including all free events.

Use the guide below to find answers to common questions and see how we've made reserving your seats easier.

What is vivenu?

vivenu is a ticketing platform designed to empower venues to create seamless experiences for their guests. The Rozsa and Michigan Tech Athletics have selected this platform to modernize and improve the ticketing experience for our audiences.

How do I Reserve Rozsa Tickets?

To prepare for the upcoming season, all previous Rozsa ticket-buyers will receive an email invitation from vivenu to set up an account on our new platform. This simple, one-time setup ensures your contact information is secure and ready for your first purchase when we announce our season.

Once the new ticketing website is officially live, we will provide a comprehensive guide to help you navigate the system. This will include:

  • Step-by-step written instructions
  • A video tutorial
  • Support details

FAQs

Where do I go to purchase Rozsa tickets?
Starting May 1, 2026 we will launch a new ticketing web address (to be announced soon). Our main website, mtu.edu/rozsa, will remain your primary resource for viewing the full events calendar, including all free events.

Does this affect my previously purchased ticket?
No, all tickets purchased for future events remain fully valid and no action is needed on your part. You may continue to use your current digital or printed tickets for entry.

Do I need to make a vivenu account to buy tickets?
No, you do not need to have a vivenu account to purchase tickets. We recommend making a vivenu account, but you are able to buy them using a non-logged in guest account.

Why should I make a vivenu account?
Creating an account ensures you get the most out of your visit to the Rozsa. It keeps a secure record of your tickets and shows discounts relevant to you, including Michigan Tech Student Rush tickets. Beyond special offers, creating an account allows for one-tap mobile wallet integration, speeds up your checkout experience, and ensures we can reach you instantly with event updates or delays.

Can I still use the old ticketing website to buy Rozsa tickets?
All current Rozsa events will remain available on the old ticketing website, mtu.universitytickets.com, through May 31. Beginning June 1, 2026, the Rozsa will transition fully to the new vivenu ticketing system. Michigan Tech Athletics will continue to use the old site for a short time before they also transition to vivenu later this year.

Why did the Rozsa and Athletics choose to make this change?
We're shifting to vivenu in response to feedback we've heard about making the ticketing experience simpler and more reliable. vivenu is a proven ticketing platform that is being used by many organizations worldwide and provides options our old system did not.

Separating the athletics ticketing sales process from Rozsa’s ticketing sales process helps both organizations avoid confusion and identify improvements that can make our patron’s experiences smoother.

Who do I contact if I have questions?
If you further questions regarding the Rozsa ticketing process you can contact the Rozsa Box Office during Rozsa Box Office Hours.

If you have any questions regarding the Michigan Tech Athletics ticketing process you can contact the Michigan Tech Central Ticketing Office.
