Earn a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Five Years

Pursue your advanced studies at a faster, more efficient pace through the Accelerated Master’s Program in Engineering Mechanics. The program allows you to count up to 6 approved credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering and either a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering Mechanics.

Programs focus on a variety of research fields. Gain a strong knowledge base in advanced power systems, multi-scale sensors and systems, multidisciplinary engineering dynamic systems, mechanics of multi-scale materials, or space systems. 

The program offers three options: thesis, report, or course-work. It is designed for highly motivated students planning to pursue doctoral studies in mechanical engineering or to take the lead in industry achievement. This program helps meet the increasing demand for graduates who have earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
