Lawrence Laurich earned the degrees Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1965 and 1966, respectively. As an undergraduate at Michigan Tech, Larry earned eight varsity letters and served as co-captain of the basketball and track teams in his senior year. '65Michael DeJonge '65 chose Michigan Tech because he received the Michigan High School Scholarship and decided he wanted to go into Electrical Engineering. In his time at Michigan Tech, outside of class Michael enjoyed exploring the local waterfalls and enjoying nature of the Keweenaw. '57Don Autio began his career with Hanna Mining Co. in Iron River as an electrical engineer. After five years, as the mines were closing, Don moved to E. I. '60Franklin Weigold was born in St. Charles, Michigan. He earned the degree Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1960, and went on to earn an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
