Lyman Morikawa earned the degree Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1971 and was commissioned into the US Army Corps of Engineers. He continued on to receive a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii in 1990. After leaving Michigan Tech, he worked at the Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company (HC&S) in factory automation and power generation . . .

Dave House ‘65, a longtime supporter of Michigan Technological University and the College of Computing, was inducted into the College of Computing Honor Academy on April 4, 2022. He is recognized for his profound and long-term commitment to computing and Michigan Tech. House’s influence, vision, and support were key to the formation of the College of Computing. Dr. Swenson held faculty positions at Washington University, the University of Alaska, and Michigan State University before joining the University of Illinois in 1956. George served as Director of the Vermilion River Observatory and Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering before retiring from the Illinois faculty in 1988.
