He attended Cleveland-Marshall Law School evenings and earned a J.D. law degree in 1955 becoming General and Patent Counsel for the Clark Controller Company. In 1963, Charlie began his career with Whirlpool Corporation as a Patent Attorney. Paul K. Goethe received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Michigan Tech in 1949. He continued his education through Westinghouse’s advanced degree programs conducted by the University of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania State University. He joined the Westinghouse Specialty Transformer Department, serving as a design engineer, development engineer, supervising engineer and engineering manager. . . .

Christie graduated from Michigan Tech in 1993 with a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering. She also received Modern Language Certification in French at this time. After graduation, she accepted a position with Ford Motor Company in Dearborn as a Product Engineer.
