Michael Pulick grew up in Livonia, Michigan, with three siblings, all fellow Michigan Tech engineers. After receiving his electrical engineering degree in 1950, Donald Green stayed on at Michigan Tech, earning a degree in engineering administration and receiving an Air Force commission through the AFROTC program in 1951. Following service in the Korean War as a radar officer in Japan, he was employed by Ferson Optics, rising to the position of president in 1962. Hal Philipp is a true pioneer and inventor. With nearly 90 patents, Philipp was named by Mind Matters News as one of history's most influential inventors. Like many alumni, Roy Krzywosinski has fond memories of his time at Michigan Tech playing broomball and counts chemistry professor Myron Berry as an influence.
