Lyman Morikawa earned the degree Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 1971 and was commissioned into the US Army Corps of Engineers. He continued on to receive a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii in 1990. After leaving Michigan Tech, he worked at the Hawaiian Commercial amp; Sugar Company (HC amp;S) in factory automation and power generation . . .

George served as Director of the Vermilion River Observatory and Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering before retiring from the Illinois faculty in 1988. Brandon Williams graduated from Michigan Tech in 2000 with his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Gerald Ziarno joined the Packard Electric Division of General Motors and left after a short period to fulfill an Air Force ROTC commitment, spending two and a half years in Japan. He joined Dow Corning Corporation in Midland, Michigan, in 1962 and served in a number of management positions in locations as diverse as Belgium, Japan, and Hong Kong.
