Design and Interpret Experiments
In the engineering industry, the mastery of electrical systems, computers, sensors, data acquisition software, and control systems is indispensable. Engineering graduates increase their employability with a working knowledge of not only acquiring data, but also reading the results—which is the focus of this minor. You will gain a theoretical and practical background in measurement principles; data acquisition, analysis and interpretation; and control systems analysis and design. In addition, you will be equipped to design and interpret experiments—know-how that will allow you to cross interdisciplinary lines and collaborate with other experts.
How to Enroll in a Minor
A minor allows a student to specialize in a discipline outside their major. To pursue a minor, you must first be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and file a curriculum add/drop form with the Registrar's Office to declare the minor. We recommend that you begin your minor studies as early as possible in your academic career.
