DECA Huskies Mean Business!
Reinvigorated after a five-year hiatus, six students placed at the state competition and four students competed in the international conference, with two earning a top-10 placement. That was 2022, and Michigan Tech's DECA Chapter has continued to thrive ever since.
Collegiate DECA is a student-driven organization that values competence, innovation, integrity, and teamwork. The organization aligns perfectly with the College of Business and its goal to prepare students for successful careers, because DECA helps participants integrate skills learned in the classroom into real-world experiences. Collegiate DECA programs assist in developing academically prepared, community-oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders. DECA members major in a variety of academic programs with a strong focus on business-related fields.
