Husky Motors—Vehicle Rental Options
1
Currently, we have SUVs, mini-vans, pickup trucks, and 12 to 15 passenger vans available for daily and long-term rentals. Rental rates can be found on the Husky Motors page.
Husky Motors is in the process of phasing out large passenger vans. At this time, we have several passenger vans that accommodate up to 12 to 15 passengers available for rent, with Fiscal Year 2027 likely being the final year these vehicles are offered.
For safety and compliance with Michigan Technological University policy, even though these vans are rated for 12 or 15 passengers, occupancy is limited to no more than 10 passengers total, including the driver.

Safety is the top priority at Husky Motors and that all starts with the preperation of your rental vehicle.
Husky Motors Technicans will professionaly clean and detail each car before it is approved for your reservation. After each vehicle is returned after a reservation, Husky Motors Technicans will perform a vehicle inspection looking for any damage or mechanical issues. If any repairs are warranted, technicans will remove the vehicle from the fleet and schedule all appropriate repairs. Each vehicle is also part of a detailed preventive maintenance program and safety inspection twice a year.
