Reading as Inquiry

Michigan Tech’s summer Reading as Inquiry initiative—known as the Summer Reading program—is meant to prepare incoming first-year students for college-level reading, inquiry, and discussion. The summer reading experience provides a taste of what your academic life will be like—you’ll be expected to read the book before arriving to campus and be prepared to discuss it during a class-like group session during Fall Orientation Programs.

The title of the Fall 2020 book selection is "The Stranger in the Woods" by Michael Finkel.
