Steven Fantetti came to Michigan Tech from Tecumseh, Ontario, to play wide receiver for the Huskies football team. After graduating from Michigan Tech with a degree in Social Sciences and a Minor in Psychology, Steven enrolled in Western Michigan University’s (WMU) Cooley School of Law. Steven graduated Cum Laude from WMU as Valedictory Speaker with a Juris Doctor, (J.D.) in 2011, and won the 2011 Thomas M. Cooley Alumni Association Distinguished Student Award Winner. Steven then graduated from WMU’s Cooley School of Law in 2015 with an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Corporate Law & Finance.

After completing his legal studies, Steven clerked in the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, and subsequently served as in-house legal counsel for several global corporations focusing on advanced corporate transactions. Simultaneously, Steven also served an Adjunct Professor of Law at WMU Cooley School of Law for 9 years teaching Corporate Business Planning. He later opened his own law firm, Fantetti Legal LLC.

Steven Fantetti is the owner and founder of the Athlete Empowerment Agency (AEA), which represents several NCAA athletes in negotiating their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals and other contractual matters with institutions and Fortune 500 companies. He also represents several former and active National Football League (NFL) players assisting with contract representation, negotiating player endorsement deals and private business and legal affairs, and the development of post-career planning subsequent to completion of their NFL careers.

Steven is a certified licensed NFL Player Agent with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA), and a Member of the State Bar of Florida.

As a lover of history, Steven recently wrote his first book, a historical fiction novel called “Across the Knoll,” a story about the events surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, which is entering publication.

Steven and his wife, Kelly Fantetti, a Perry, Michigan native and also a WMU Cooley Law School Graduate in 2011, reside together in Tampa, Florida, with their 2 children, Everett and Simon.
