with National Geographic Live: Earth After Dark, this exhibition invites artists to
interpret the beauty, mystery, and sense of connection found in the Keweenaw’s nighttime
hours.

Season: 2024/25 - Fall 2024
Since the fall of 2019, Degges has been creating a series of intriguing abstract paintings
based on cell phone photos from his family in Louisiana in a group text. This project
explores shared visual experiences and affirms the concept of home as immaterial and
held within oneself. Alongside these paintings are a series of abstract sculptures
that Degges collaborated on with his wonderful canine companion, Cricket.

Simple Machines: Poetry, Letterpress, and the Art of the Little Magazine

Season: 2023/24 - Spring 2024
Simple Machines is a traveling letterpress poetry magazine propelled by the generous support of Michigan
Technological University, founded and edited by M. Bartley Seigel, and features original
poetry from a diverse array of national and international poets. The Rozsa Galleries
proudly shared the art and words of Simple Machines in a multi-media setting featuring audio clips of the poets reading their own work,
a live printing demonstration, and a live performance from visiting Ukrainian poet
and Simple Machines contributor Yuliya Musakovska.

Erin Hoffman is an artist and printmaker from Muskegon, Michigan, who deals primarily
with political and social concerns. Through the presentation of mismatched ideas and
assemblages, her art serves as a prompt for critical thought and new conclusions.
