The Vice President for Research office maintains a cloud-based eRA system called Cayuse for managing its portfolio of proposals, awards, project related disclosures, technologies, inventions, conflict of interest, human and animal ethics and institutional bio- and radiation safety activities.
Module Descriptions
The Sponsored Projects (SP) module makes it easy for the researcher to collaboratively develop and submit proposals, review and accept awards, manage their portfolios, all while using a transparent electronic workflow process. A user dashboard also makes it easier to manage your research portfolio.
The Inventions module enhances collaboration across the commercialization value chain.
The Outside Interests (OI) module allows the researcher to experience a quicker, more transparent disclosure experience by submitting project related disclosures online.
The Human Ethics (eIRB) module allows the researcher to increase their transparency into human subject protocols and their statuses via a dashboard, as well as experience efficient preparation, electronic routing and review.
The Animal Oversight (eIACUC) module allows the researcher to increase their transparency into animal subject protocols and their statuses via a dashboard, as well as experience efficient preparation, electronic routing and review.
The Hazard Safety (eIBC) module allows the researcher to increase their transparency into biosafety protocols and their statuses via a dashboard, as well as experience efficient preparation, electronic routing and review.
