The 2026 Student Poster Competition is now accepting submissions!

Requirements
- Actively enrolled as an Michigan Tech student
- Be present during poster competition
- Standardized poster size of 48 inches (width) x 36 inches (height)
- Drop off poster in the Great Lakes Research Center, Room 202 between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM on October 1st.
More information
- The poster competition is judged by a judging board, assigned two per entry with the final score being the average between the two judges' score.
- Posters are scored on a scale of 1-10 in the following categories
- Background/Hypothesis
- Relevances/Significance
- Having Clear/Linked Methods
- Clear/Strong Conclusions
- Overall Organization
- Oral Presentation
- Poster printing costs can be covered by the ICC if printed at the MTU library. Contact
townsend@mtu.edu with your reciept for reimbursement.
Showcase 2026 Event Features
In addition to the student poster competition, this year's showcase will feature a keynote from Pavan Muzumdar, Chief Operating Officer of Automation Alley, and a panel to follow, likely in the context of industry development and collaboration in the Upper Peninsula. More details to come!
