Current Priorities
Grateful Alumni. Honored Faculty. Friends of Michigan Tech and the College of Forestry and Environmental Science. There are as many unique donors as reasons to pay it forward. It all comes to this: you care deeply about natural resources, and our students being trained as worldwide stewards of the environment. Here, donors can choose what means most to them. Your gift means a great deal to us. Thank you.
Undergraduate Scholarships
We offer extraordinary scholarship support to deserving students thanks to generous alumni, faculty members, and their families. Help maintain scholarship funds.
Diversity
The overall workforce in Natural Resources does not match the overall workforce.
For years, women and minorities have been underrepresented in the workforce and in
CFRES. Increasing diversity of the student body is a university-wide priority and
CFRES continues to offer programs and outreach to improve results in these areas.

Student Activities Fund
Societies and clubs provide students with professional development opportunities
to learn skills they will need in the workforce that aren't necessarily taught in
the classroom. For instance, students can network at a conference to learn about career
options and build up their network. Being involved on campus helps student retention.

Women in Natural Resources Scholarship
