About Me

My name is Cacie Clifford. My hometown is Burton, a city near the Flint area. I'm a third-year Bioinformatics major with minors in Computer Science, Psychology, and Microbiology. Currently, my goals are to get my accelerated Master's in Biological Sciences and then go on to get a Master's in Genetic Counseling.  I'm involved in Blue Key here at Michigan Tech and this is my 3rd year overall and 2nd year in my executive board position of Alumni and Membership Relations. I also work at the Biology Learning Center and Animal Care Facility. I am a huge fan of cats and one of the main reasons I'm moving is to be able to adopt one! I'm also a member of the LGBTQ community and even worked with my friends to start our Gay-Straight Alliance in high school. This really is what drove me to be a Husky Connect mentor the first time, I was as a freshman, and it is what helped to lead me back this time around. I want to help people find their community here and really make Michigan Tech their home! I'm really excited to work with you all!
