About Me

Hi! My name is Ruben. I am a graduate student in the Data Science program and expect to graduate in 2020. I received my bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University and associate’s degree from Grand Rapids Community College. After high school I joined the military and worked in the medical field for a number of years before enrolling in college. I’m a huge fan of the outdoors and spend most of my spare time in the summer fishing, camping, hiking, and hammocking. This winter I expect to spend more time indoors with my dog than I normally would when I’m downstate. Stop by CDI and say hi anytime!
