After graduating from Michigan Tech in 1959 with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Faith began her professional career as a research chemist in the Physical Chemistry Lab at Dow Corning Corporation in Midland, Michigan. She left this profession after three years to raise a family. During her hiatus from the chemistry industry, she co-owned and co-operated two businesses—Maple Grove Laundry and Maple Grove Oil Supply . . .

Fred Ross graduated from Michigan Tech in 1943 with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. His remarkable career in the chemical industry started at Pure Oil Company in Chicago and led him to his current position of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Robonard, Inc. He contributed more than 40 articles to professional publications. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists and Recipient of the Board of Trustees Silver . . .

Kim Hilton, also known as Chemical Kim, earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Secondary Education Certification at Michigan Technological University in 1991. During her time at Tech, she was an active member of the student chapter of the American Chemical Society, a sister of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority, a lab assistant, a chemistry tutor and a participant in cross country and track.
