Department Scholar

This award is presented to a student entering their senior year at Michigan Tech. The award recognizes the best of student scholarship in the department. Students who receive this award participate in research or scholarly activities, demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity and creativity, and fine communication skills.

Woman Of Promise

This award recognizes contributions by outstanding women students in the Visual and Performing Arts Department. The award originated with the Presidential Council of Alumnae. The award is no longer coordinated at the university level, but the VPA department has maintained the award to recognize significant scholarship and service in the department by women students.
