Mail Delivery to Departments

Mail Services provides weekday mail delivery and pick-up to campus departments following a scheduled route.

  • Mail Services only delivers mail from the United States Postal Service (USPS); packages arriving via USPS will be included with your mail delivery.
  • Delivery is to the mailroom for your department or building. See the Mail Pickup and Delivery Schedule for details. Mail Services does not deliver to individual offices or labs.
  • University faculty and staff will receive an automatic notification from UMC’s Parcel Tracker account when packages have been received in Mail Services and processed for delivery. Please watch your email for notifications and additional information.
  • FedEx, UPS, and packages arriving via freight or from other carriers will be delivered by Central Receiving.

Occasionally, disruptions occur and mail delivery or pickup is not available. We encourage each department to have key staff members join the Mail Services Updates email list to receive notifications.

Departments are welcome to pick up and drop off mail at the service window at G40 Administration Building during open hours.
