Dean of Students

The Dean of Students Office helps all Michigan Tech students succeed. We guide and support you through your academic and personal challenges, always keeping your success at the center of everything we do.


Academic and Community Conduct

The Office of Academic and Community Conduct promotes integrity and fairness at Michigan Tech. When conduct issues arise, we work with students through an educational process that builds personal accountability while protecting our campus community.


Career Services

Career Services connects you with job opportunities and supports your career journey from first year through alumni life. We provide career guidance, run the Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program, and host events like our giant career fair where you can meet future employers.


International Programs and Services

International Programs and Services (IPS) helps international students and scholars succeed at Michigan Tech.

We support you through:

Mental Health and Well-being

The Center for Student Mental Health and Well-being provides free mental health support for Michigan Tech students. We offer individual and group counseling, wellness programs, and peer support—all designed to be culturally-conscious and evidence-based.


Residence Education

Residence Education helps you build community and resilience during your time in campus housing. From move-in to move-out, we create learning opportunities that prepare you to be a conscientious member of society.


Student Leadership and Involvement

Student Leadership and Involvement helps you get involved on campus. We support everything from late-night programs and Greek life to leadership development and community service. With more than 240 student organizations, there's something for everyone.


Student Support and Mentorship

Student Support and Mentorship helps all undergraduate students succeed academically, socially, and personally. Whether you're a first-year student or preparing for graduation, we offer individual support and group mentorship programs to help you navigate college and build skills for your future.


Study Away and Abroad

Study Away and Abroad Experiences offers more than traditional study abroad programs. Choose from faculty-led trips, exchanges, internships, research opportunities, and international senior design projects. We'll help you explore your options and find the right fit.


Wahtera Center for Student Success

The Waino Wahtera Center for Student Success supports you and your family as you transition to University life. We help you develop the relationships, attitudes, values, and skills you need to navigate college's challenges and opportunities.
