The Research Advisory Council (RAC) commissioned the first-ever Research Services Survey in spring 2025 to establish a baseline of satisfaction with central research services at Michigan Tech. This anonymous survey will be repeated annually to track trends and guide continuous improvements within the Office of the Vice President for Research (VPR).
Results
Using the Results for Improvement
All data and written comments were reviewed by the Research Advisory Council and VPR leadership. The results, including detailed unit-level satisfaction measures and coded themes from open-ended responses, are being used to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts across the VPR Office.
Actionable comments and suggestions will be addressed whenever possible. The annual repetition of this survey will provide the data necessary to monitor progress and assess the impact of changes implemented.
