Mr. Michael Malloy completed his baccalaureate degree in civil engineering at Michigan Tech in 1970.   He went on to join Gannett Fleming, Inc. as a staff engineer in his home town of Chicago.  He moved up in the company serving as President and CEO of Gannett Fleming West, Inc. from 1987-2010 in New Mexico.  He also served as the Vice President of Gannett Fleming, Inc., Director of Western Operations, from 2001-2007 overseeing operations in Gannett Fleming’s 19-state West Region.  Currently, he is with WHPacific, Inc. in the New Mexico office as the Operations Manager and the Southwest Regional Transportation Director overseeing projects in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas.

Mr. Malloy is active in a number of professional organizations including: President of American Council of Engineering Companies of New Mexico from 2013-2015, President of New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers from 2000-2001, and President of American Public Works Association of New Mexico in 1993 and 1994.   He is a registered Professional Engineer in 8 states. 

He has been recognized with many honors and awards over the years including: Ingeniero Veterano de Nuevo Mejico in 2006 NMSPE highest award, Engineer of the Year, New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers in 1998 and 2006, Professional Leadership Award, American Council of Engineering Companies in 2002, and the Heliopolis Phoenix Award from the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers in 2010.

Michael and his wife, Susan, reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
