In 2011, the Alumni Association established the Traditions of Giving program in support of the Generations of Discovery Campaign for Michigan Tech.
This scholarship enables current undergraduate students facing financial hardship to continue their studies at Michigan Tech.
The scholarships are funded by the investment earnings generated from an endowed fund of the Michigan Tech Alumni Association. This endowment was created through the generosity of alumni and friends who have supported the association over the years.
