Biography

As a sound designer and composer, Pan-Pan explores creating sonic experiences that travel between heightened theatricality and emotional nuances. Her work spans theater, games, film, opera, and dance. Selected credits include City Theatre, Chautauqua Theatre, Theater Mu, Creede Repertory Theatre, Pittsburgh Opera, etc. She sound designed the premiere of the contemporary opera “Time to Act”, and her work will be featured in the commercial recording for national release on the award-winning classical label Bright Shiny Things.

Internationally, Pan-Pan was awarded Second Prize in Emerging Sound Design and shortlisted as one of the 100 final exhibitors at World Stage Design 2025. Outside of live performance, she sound designed the educational game “Virtual Glass Blowing: Pittsburgh Glass Center”, which won the Gold Medal at the 2023 International Serious Play Award and is currently installed at the Pittsburgh Glass Center’s summer and fall courses.
