First Time Applicants
Apply for benefits through the Department of Veteran Affairs:
- Find information and apply for educational benefits on the VA.gov website.
Paperwork needed by the VA Certifying Official:
- Copy of Certificate of Eligibility issued from the VA once eligibility has been determined
- Copy of DD-214 (discharge documents)
- Submit the VA Enrollment Form found on the Personal Information card in Experience.
Requirements for Continuing Students
A VA Enrollment Form must be submitted prior to each semester to notify the School Certifying Official that credits should be certified to the VA for the term. The form can be found on the Personal Information card in Experience.
Students receiving VA benefits need to verify enrollment each month.
