The Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) gives you a well-rounded engineering perspective. We offer courses in engineering analysis, careers, group learning, and mentoring. You can take on collaborative leadership and group management. Understand the principles of professional communications, ethics, and problem solving.
Function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership. Create a collaborative and inclusive environment. Analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to draw conclusions.
Go one step further by designing your own pathway. You can customize up to 40 percent of your degree path.
Minor
The minor in Systems Engineering can be useful to students majoring in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, engineering management, forestry, biology, and other areas.

Every engineering student at Michigan Tech takes the same core courses, and chooses a major after two or three semesters.
