Zack Fredrickson

- BS Accounting 2015
- MS Accounting 2016
Some find their passion at a young age, some find it later in life and for some, like Zach Fredrickson, CPA, a passion runs in their family.
"I have a lot of family members that were accountants. My uncle is a CPA and has always worked hard which inspired me to become a CPA," he said. "He was always so organized and had nice things and I always wanted to mimic that lifestyle."
Other than his uncle, Fredrickson thanks his parents for his success in life. "Seeing them sacrifice their free time to be involved in their kids' lives day in and day out helped impact me to become successful and want to give back."
After getting his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Accounting from Michigan Tech, Fredrickson secured a position at Baird, Cotter, and Bishop as a Certified Public Accountant. He has worked there for the past five and a half years.
"If you are good at something and enjoy doing it, you will be happy with your career and life," he said.
Though he always wanted to get into accounting, it is a challenge to balance a thriving career with more time for the things he enjoys outside of work. Thankfully, balance is something Baird, Cotter, and Bishop strives for with their employees.
When you cannot find Fredrickson at the office, you will surely find him spending time with family, on the golf course, or playing hockey.
