The Center for Student Mental Health and Well-being is partnering with UP Health System-Portage
to bring students, faculty, and staff accessible flu shot clinics throughout the month
of October. All walk-in appointments are free to students, faculty, and staff with
a valid insurance provider card.

- Thursday, October 10th | 11 AM - 1 PM, Rozsa
- Thursday, October 24th | 11 AM - 1 PM, Rozsa
- Tuesday, October 29th | 4 PM - 6 PM, SDC Gym
Please fill out the registration form prior to visiting a flu shot clinic and present it when you visit a clinic.

Will I be charged for my flu shot if I have insurance?
Flu shots are free to faculty, staff, and students provided they are able to present
a valid insurance card at the time of their walk-in appointment.
What if I don't have insurance, or I don't have a valid insurance card to show at
my appointment?
You can still get a flu shot without having insurance or showing proof of insurance.
In this case the flu shot will cost you $40.00 (payable by cash or credit card).
Nope, you don't need to show us your student ID!
Do I need to prepare for my flu shot in any way?

Where can I get my flu vaccine if I am unable to go to any of the clinics at Michigan
Tech?
Most flu vaccine's are available at local healthcare provider establishments. Please
check out the local healthcare provider locations, to inquire about flu shot availability and making an appointment.
