Scheduling

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Whitmore’s “Stay Home” Executive Order, Counseling Services has adapted to meet the needs of our students. We continue to provide services over the summer to enrolled students during the duration they are enrolled. Our summer services include:

-Individual Counseling through telecounseling 
-Some support groups using Zoom

 
 

*Telecounseling for individual counseling and support groups will use Zoom as a means of communication. 

**We also can assist you with finding providers in your local area, or connect you with other resources, such as academic support, locations of food/housing, and help making appointments with local medical professionals.

 Thank you for your interest in Counseling Services. If you wish to establish services with a counselor, please utilize our walk-in hours during the academic year, which will be posted at the beginning of each semester. During the summer months, please contact our office to schedule an appointment.

Prior to your initial appointment, you will be asked to complete our initial paperwork and complete a brief questionnaire to help the counselor to better understand the concern(s) bringing you in. All of this takes 10-15 minutes to complete, so plan accordingly when coming to walk-in hours or prior to a scheduled appointment. 

If you are already established with a counselor, please contact our office to schedule with your counselor. If you have not received services in a year or more we will ask you to complete the initial paperwork again prior to re-establishing services.

If you are experiencing an emergency please notify the person you are talking with or utilize the emergency information on the right.

*NOTE: Only the student seeking services are able to schedule an appointment.
