Dr. Rhodes is currently on research leave working as the 2025-2026 American Philosophical
Society Fellow in the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the University
of Edinburgh and as the 2025-2026 Fulbright-Schuman European Union Affairs Scholar
hosted by the Center for Interdisciplinary Area Studies and the Institute of Geosciences
and Geography at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
